2011 Annual Conference

Seven Springs Mountain Resort

This October we are heading back to Seven Springs for our 2011 Annual Conference.  We look forward to seeing many familiar faces and hopefully some new ones.  Please take a few minutes to review the agenda and registration information at the bottom of this page.

As always, PACAH members receive reduced rates to attend the conference, and for people unable to attend the entire conference, attending single days is always an option.  This year application has been submitted to the PA NHA Licensure Board for a maximum of  17 continuing education credit hours. 

The schedule is as follows:

Monday:         3 CEUs
Tuesday:         3.5 CEUs
Wednesday:   6 CEUs
Thursday:       4.5 CEUs

Some of the topics scheduled for the conference include: Debunking the Myth if Medicare's Improvement v. Maintenance Standard; Breach Notification: Agent for Change; Simplifying Clinical & Expense Management in LTC; The HR Audit; Current Medicare/Medicaid Fraud Issues;  and, many more.

Seven Springs is located in Somerset County.  The resort boasts a full spa, several fine dining establishments, minature golf, bowling, two sporting clay courses , an alpine slide -- more activities than anyone could hope to enjoy over four days! 

The conference golf outing will be at the resort course on Tueday afternoon.  Measuring at just over 6,500 yards, Seven Springs' perfectly-maintained par 71 golf course takes maximum advantage of its mountain vistas and natural beauty of the Laurel Highlands. Vibrant landscaping, lush fairways and four-tee positions make play challenging for any golfer. From the highest point on the course, you can see seven counties and three states!

Hotel Information:

For hotel reservations please call Seven Springs at (800) 452-2223 and mention that you are with “PACAH”.  Room rates are $147 per night single/double/, plus 9% tax.  Additional attendees in the room are $45/person.  Rooms include the breakfast buffet each morning.  THE CUT OFF DATE FOR OVERNIGHT ACCOMODATIONS IS OCTOBER 3.
