Our History

Founded in 1951, PACAH grew from a coalition rooted in county nursing facilities into a statewide association representing diverse healthcare and living communities and associated businesses. For more than seven decades, we have stood with Pennsylvania providers to advance excellence and improve the quality of care and life.

Who We Represent

County Nursing Facilities — Serving communities through county-operated care settings.

Veterans Facilities — Supporting those who served and the teams who care for them.

Private Nursing Facilities — Partnering with private providers committed to quality.
